Individual Psychotherapy
I provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what is happening in your life and explore difficult thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace.
My practice is neurodiversity-informed and gender-affirming, recognising that there is no one way of experiencing or understanding the world. I work collaboratively with you, adapting therapy to your individual needs, experiences and identity rather than expecting you to fit a particular therapeutic approach.
I support people experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, relationship and family difficulties, self-harm, suicidal thoughts and disordered eating, as well as those navigating ADHD, autism, neurodivergence, gender, sexuality and identity.
My approach is humanistic and integrative, which allows us to explore not only what you may be struggling with now, but also the experiences, relationships and patterns that may be contributing to how you feel.
Therapy can provide an opportunity to better understand yourself, develop healthier boundaries and relationships, recognise patterns that may no longer be helping you, and make changes that feel meaningful and achievable.
You do not need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. We can start with where you are.
Couples therapy
I provide couples therapy for partners experiencing relationship difficulties, recurring conflict, communication problems, loss of connection or intimacy, trust issues, parenting challenges, family pressures and significant life changes.
I also support couples where trauma, addiction or past experiences are affecting the relationship, helping both partners understand how these experiences can influence emotional responses, trust, communication and connection.
As a neurodiversity-informed therapist, I work with couples where one or both partners may be autistic or have ADHD. Neurodivergence can influence communication, emotional regulation, sensory needs, routines and the way each person experiences and responds within a relationship. Therapy can help you understand these differences and find ways of working with them together, rather than allowing misunderstanding to become a source of repeated conflict.
My approach is supportive, balanced and non-judgemental. I provide a space where both partners can feel heard, explore difficult issues safely, understand patterns within the relationship and develop healthier ways of communicating and relating to each other.
With a Higher Diploma in Couples Therapy and an MSc in Addiction Studies, alongside my training and experience in trauma and psychotherapy, I can draw on a range of approaches to tailor couples therapy to the particular needs of your relationship.
The aim is not to decide who is right or wrong, but to help you understand each other, make sense of what is happening within the relationship, and decide together what a healthier way forward looks like.
